Ivett Gonda began to study under Master Lim when she was just 8 years old in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She did not foresee a passion for the martial arts that would lead her to contend in over 20 prestigious competitions, many in which she ranked very highly. Under Master Lim’s guidance and training, Ivett has been able to rise above her own expectations and truly be a force to be reckoned with.
Ivett has won the Gold Medal 11 times at the Canadian National Championship, ranging from events such as the Senior Nationals to the Olympic Weight Event. She continues to fight in International competitions that range from the Olympic Games itself to the World Championships, even winning the Gold in 2004 in Mexico during the Pan Am Olympic Qualifications.
Two Times Olympian 2004 Olympic Games 2008 Beijing Olympics. 2014 Silver Medal and Bronze Medal at the World Grand Prix Taekwondo Championship Ivett is currently an instructor at Black Belt World’s High Performance Athletic Coaching program and will be teaching regular programs at the New Black Belt World Woodbridge and Black Belt World HQ.
